Sn 001. Built during the ridiculous measures the Victorian government took during 2020, this is the very first Andy Allen Guitar and we're proud to have it in the collection. We are also extremely humbled that after we collected the other two Andy decided his first belonged with us and sent it up to Sydney, no charge. We were humbled by his generosity.
The guitar is made from Honduran mahogany, a one-piece solid body and neck topped in a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. this is as close as you can get to the original in looks and sound.
Lockdown meant Andy could only source things that were locally available, remember the world almost came to a standstill so the pickup on this one isn't the standard Dimarzio Fantom Dogear P90 but a hand wound Leddin Vintage HOT DOG made in Queensland .
